I am glad to see Oakville Grocery made a come back, but I heard the store will now be changing names because it was purchased by another company.
I had lunch here today with my friend Mo H., and we both had a fabulous meal!
This is not a very big grocery store, and it is supposedly mostly gourmet or organic. I did not investigate if the items were, but generally the food on display were pretty good and available for immediate consumption. You can also order pizzas, paninis and purchase fruits, veggies and other delicious nutriments.
We both shared the Caprese and 4 Artisan Cheeses pizzas. (See pictures). Both were very delicious and fresh, and the Mint tea was refreshing and rejuvenating.
The weather was lovely, and the surrounding was fabulous, so we decided to seat outside.
It's definitely the perfect place to meet and have lunch with friends.
It's really close to the light rail, and within easy walking distance to other shops in downtown phoenix. I loved it.
