I had weekday afternoon tea at the Windsor Arms, and was quite pleased with the experience. This tea room is located in a nice area of Toronto called Yorkville, on a small street with old world charm. The hotel itself is quite old, but the tea room is really bright and beautiful. The room is divided into 3 smaller rooms each with a different decor and ambiance. I thought the food was above average and nicely presented--the scones were light and fluffy. However, few of the tea sandwiches ended up being a bit soggy, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a pretty good experience in a great location. The Windsor Arms is situated within walking distance of good shopping, museums, and the University of Toronto campus...a wonderful area to stroll around after you've had your fill of scones and tea!
