Ate here last night for the first time. We arrived at 7 and there wasn't anyone in the dining room. This is the old Spinato's location and looks much the same inside, which is fine for a neighborhood joint. The servers were very attentive and pleasant but a little inept. The menu is typical spaghetti & meatballs and pizza. Everything is made from scratch including the mozzarella.
The four of us shared a 12 inch pizza which was outstanding. I had eggplant parm with a side of spaghetti which was also very good. Friends had spinach ravioli and lasagne both of which were excellent. The salad was ample with mixed field greens and a very good house made balsamic vinaigrette. The garlic knots were wonderful.
The owner came out and introduced himself, gave a little bio and was very welcoming. He checked on us halfway through the meal and seemed genuinely concerned about our experience.
