Colonial manages the complex I live in. My review is based on the experience I had over a 3 month period with a gate issue. First of all the gates consistently have a problem. They do not do preventative maintenance only reactive which is very slow.
Due to their lack of obsolescence management our gate was down for nearly 2 months. They dragged their feet getting quotes and then finally scheduling a repair. They did not communicate what was going on until a week before the replacement of the gate computer system.
I emailed several times and responses were hit or miss. When I did get a response it was not informative and I had to send follow up emails to get to the truth. I hope the HOA finds another company to mange our properties because Colonial is not doing a very good job.
