rev:text	Spent a couple of hours here one morning. Locker area: It was clean, lockers large, showers nice, with good separation so your towel and robe don't get wet. They had a couple of little stools in a sit down vanity area for 2. Lacking on the vanity side. Did not have any extras like shower caps, razors, tampons/pads, bobby-pins, etc. not even a sign saying they carry them and have to be asked for. Snacks: I am an early bird - I was first one in - there was only punch and bottled water, no fruit etc. later when I left at 1030, fruit had been placed out. Hot tub was run down and a bit of a safety hazard getting in and out. There is an exposed metal pipe right where you get in and out and someone could easily trip Cold plunge was very difficult to get in and out of. Just regular chairs in the hot tub area. No loungers ANYWHERE. Due to severe spinal problems I need to recline frequently. Not a one in sight. And their Quiet Room was right next to the hot tub area and the people in the hot tub were LOUD. So much for trying to catch a nap or quiet the mind. Overall, it would do in a pinch and honestly the staff make this place. Very welcoming and helpful. This spa was obviously built when getting away to the spa was not as common as it is now. It does need some serious upgrades. Also a complaint: we pay a resort fee: it's mandatory. Yet, it doesn't include a hot tub, steam and sauna? Ridiculous! Especially for one as small and basic as the Monte's is. This should be part of your stay at a hotel if a resort fee is incurred.
