Came here on a Saturday night and it was packed! We arrived around 9pm and couldn't find anywhere to sit or really stand- the layout is a little strange with a really long bar and a row of booth type seats parallel to it, but we managed to make our way to the bar and get a drink menu.
If you have trouble making decisions like I do, beware that the list of cocktails itself is pretty much two full menu pages with a multitude of delicious sounding drinks. When it was my turn to order I panicked and picked the first item on the menu- a vodka based basil and blood orange drink. As we waited for our drinks, I started to read the menu some more and started to get ordering fomo as I saw some other options that also sounded delicious.
It took a while for our drinks to come out but I'm going to attribute that to the fact that they seemed to be very swamped with orders.
When I got my drink, I was pleasantly surprised with how well the flavors melded together and how basil-y the drink was. They were able to make a great tasting cocktail while being very innovative with their ingredients and combinations.
Everyone I was with loved their drink and the ones that I tired were all great. They're a tad on the price-y side for Madison, but given the quality of the drinks I'd say it was worth it.
It started to clear out around 10:30ish and we were able to snag a booth which made the experience much more enjoyable (compared to cramming around one end of the bar).
I would definitely go back to try some more of their cocktails and either go on the earlier or later side to be able to sit at a booth or table.
