  • There is nothing retro nor revived about this bakery. Retrograded experience from workers who brought our high energy down. They were so sad, I don't think they should be serving cupcakes. They remind me of a sad clown serving crying children bad balloon toys and magic tricks. Okay, so we have tasted the best cupcakes from San Francisco and perhaps our standards are high but there is absolutely no excuse for a chocolate cupcake that does not taste like chocolate. I mean, was that dark brown food coloring??? We ordered 4 different flavor and I kid you not, they all taste the same, like sugar. This place is not a 4 star cupcake bakery to me, it's sub par. I think I'm being nice with the 2 stars but really guys, why does all the cupcake taste so bland and all the frosting taste like sugar, like truvia? The only thing I liked was the little toffee sprinkle on the monthly special cupcake, at least that tasted like toffee. Such a :( sad cupcake experience. So..... Who wants cupcakes?? Because we have about 3/4 left over - never have I ever unfinished a cupcake.
