  • If you're looking for a thrift shop with a lot of vintage pieces, then this isn't the place for you. That being said, if you're looking to pick up some current fashions on the cheap then you've picked the right place. One thing I really like about Avalon is the lack of clutter. Racks aren't over-packed, they're organized by style, and everything is spaced out so you have room to maneuver. If you have the time to look through the pretty impressive collection of clothing and accessories, then you're more than likely to find some good pieces. I've found a few things and my boyfriend has found some pretty great graphic tees he can rock out on a casual Sunday. I think the biggest draw (at least for me) is that they buy your clothing, given that it's currently fashionable and in good condition. You can also opt for a store credit if you so choose. All in all, I would say give it a shot. As they say, one woman's trash is another's treasure!
