  • Recently visited Charmaine's to pick up an assortment of cookies . I left with some croissants and their best selling mini chicken and beef pies. Cookies were quite good. On the expensive side, but a step up on your in store bakery supermarket variety. Croissants were ordinary. Chocolate croissants had a very very small amount of chocolate. Overall, very dissapointing and I wouldn't buy these again. Mini pies are a bit of a joke. At $ 3.50 each they're 2 bite items. Taste was Ok. You can find these in any Chinese bakery in Scarborough for $ 1.00 each. Not enough here to bring me back as the prices are way too high and the quality is just average.
