Let me first start off by saying I work in the hospitality industry, operating restaurants for a living and I have read numerous reviews about his place. The reviews had gotten me very excited about trying this establishment but unfortunately I do not think I will ever return to this restaurant or recommended it any of my 1000s guest. To be honest it has nothing to do with the cuisine but everything to do with the service I received. I am a firm believer that cuisine speaks for itself but if the service is weak then it really makes the entire experience undesirable. I work long days and do not always know when I am going to make it out for dinner so my g/f and I wanted to head over without a reservations (which I knew can cause problems). We walked in noticing it was full and stopped by the greeter stand to wait to speak to the manager/greeter. I am familiar with opentable and noticed we probably wouldn't be able to get a table but just wanted to inquire how long it would be to wait for a bar seat. As we are waiting an older woman approaches us and asks if we have a reservation. I reply with "No, unfortunately we don't". Her response (not joking at all) "YOU MUST BE DREAMING IF YOU THINK YOU CAN EAT HERE WITHOUT A RESERVATION"!! I couldn't believe it.... I asked if she thought a bar spot could possible open up? Her response again was also EXTREMELY RUDE "YOU'RE DREAMING"!! I honestly couldn't believe it. I asked to speak to the manager and she replied with "WHY?" At that point I was fed up. Turned around and walked out. I have had poor experiences before but never before have had I felt so disrespected before I could even sit down at the table. I would say I would want a call from the management but it is obvious they don't really care how they treat their guest. I am surprised they have stayed open as long as they have. I look forward to recommending one of the other 100 establishments I know to my many guest over the upcoming busy months.
