| - I absolutely love this place! With the birth of our son, my husband and I started a tradition that we would bring any new members of our family here on the day they join our home. We brought both our biological children and also our foster children here. It's a "Welcome to the Family" celebration!
We start off with the hummus appetizer which our 5 year old son is a big fan of. (Update: no longer on the menu) We also love their house salads with the cucumber sliver slices, pumpkin seeds, and crisp, tasty dressing! I ALWAYS get the paella which is AMAZEBALLS! Though I make it myself at home, theirs is way better! My husband always gets the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. We are creatures of habit and when you find something as delicious as these two menu items, you gotta stick with it!
We used to LOVE their coffee as it was Jamaican Blue Mountain; but they switched a while ago, and it's just not the same. Kinda my one let down now.
Their frozen and tropical drinks are delicious, and we can never agree on just one dessert so we always order 2 or more. This time we got Chocolate Island (our go-to favorite) and a never-before tried Warm Chocolate Pineapple Upside-Down Cake. Both lived up to expectations!
If you go on a weekend in the summer, they may have a band playing outside. Fingers crossed!
For a chain restaurant, this is one of the better ones! Darden owns your classic Olive Gardens and Red Lobsters which are good for chains, but they hit it out of the park with this concept! We are partial to Jamaican themed anything though as we honeymooned in Montego Bay.
