Another hidden gem thanks to Yelp.
I was in the area and decided to try this place out because of the solid reviews on Yelp. Glad I did. I tried the chicken parm, which is my usual order at a new Italian restaurant. Every Italian restaurant has chicken parm on the menu, so it works as a good barometer.
All dinner entrees come with a small basket of cheese bread and Caesar salad. Nice touch. The chicken parm was very good. The chicken portion was ample. They were also very generous with the mozzarella cheese on top. The marinara sauce on the side of pasta pomodoro had good flavor and was spiced well. The pasta was cooked perfectly and was fresh.
At $18, the chicken parm was a bit pricey. Not necessarily expensive, but not a deal either. You are paying a bit for the atmosphere, decor, and service, which I don't mind doing on occasion. This would definitely be a good date spot.
