| - My fiance had looked on line at chapels in Vegas and decided on shalimar. We booked them thru Weiings of Las Vegas, who are a broker for many chapels, We've got nothing to say but good things about them but as far as Shalimar I'd be happy if the place just disappeared. The limo driver and minister were the best part of it. The package we got included guest taking pictures but when the gal who is manager/ customer service and photographer got in the chapel she asked my brother and sister in law to leave the chapel and proceeded to close the doors and lock the deadbolt. This woman is very rude, a terrible photographer and should go find another job since she seems to not like her current one at the chapel. When we arrived I asked her for change for a $20.00 so I could tip the limo and minister and her comment is she didn't have any with an attitude ( what business opens up and doesn't start with some kind of bank), I told her fine, guess somebody isn't going to get paid then. I just went to the front desk of the hotel since I didn't think the limo and minister should get shorted due to this bitch! They do not tell you when they're going to start the video/ web cast and you are just standing around together then the minister started. After the ceremony the woman ( bitch) calls us in the "office" and shows us 7 pictures she took extra ( they were better than the CD pics we got taken by her) , I asked her if I could see the pics that were in our package first and she said she would show those afterwards. She wanted $350.00 for those in 8x10 and if we only wanted 1 it would be $100.00, we told her we didn't want them. She was in a big rush to take pictures, and we got 24 pictures on a cd, a 8x10 and a larger pic. We had no input in what photo we would get as either and they look so shitty we will not use either. I did contact Chapels of Las Vegas and told them what happened and he said they've had complaints about her and he forwarded my e-mail to the owner of Shalimar, I told him if I was him I would strongly consider dropping that chapel from the list of chapels the rep and they are thinking strongly about it. I also told him I did file a complaint with the BBB about Shalimar and all I want is them to not do this to other couples. I kept my mouth shut while there since I didn't want to upset my wife , but I hope to hell that chapel gets no business and folds. they are terrible, and they advertise "on the strip", which might be correct by street name , but it's closer to downtown in a seedy part of town across from a place that offers $10.00 lap dances!! I recommend to avoid this chapel to all!!!!!!!!!
