On 3/13/2017 I wrote a review about a bad experience I had last week where the manager of the store didn't want to take the time to acknowledge the sales person who was clearly relaying a question about a sofa that I wanted which wasn't on the sales floor. This same manager made rude comments about my salesperson to another employee in front of me. I said I wasn't going to go back there any more, but I had regrets about not having purchased the chest and a second nightstand for the bedroom suite I bought the week before. My web search was unsuccessful at finding the furniture anywhere else.
I went back to the store this evening to purchase these two pieces and was helped by the same salesperson. The sale on the dresser and night stand was over, however the manager agreed to honor last week's sales price so I could acquire the two additional pieces. That is when I realized the store manager was not the same gentleman that had been rude to the sales person and myself the week before. After the transaction, I introduced myself to the store manager and began to explain what had happened the week prior. He was super nice with a very outgoing personality. He apologized and we talked for several minutes. I am glad I went back this evening. I feel better about the situation and I'm glad I approached him. I appreciated his listening and his honoring the sales prices on the additional pieces I added to my bedroom suite. That is what customer service is.....listening to complaints from the customer and making them feel at ease when things didn't go quite right. Thanks Jason. I appreciate your listening. Sometimes that's all it takes to turn things around!
