  • First, let me say that I like Advanced Dermatology and I think the doctor knows his stuff. My appointments were easy to make and the front desk staff was efficient and friendly. I'm not sure how to describe the doctor. He was friendly but still managed to make me feel uncomfortable somehow. His personality is a little off-putting and he seems very rushed (or maybe just hyper). On my follow-up appointment the office was backed-up. I understand that happens. There was a sign in the exam room that says if you can't wait please feel free to reschedule. One hour after my appointment time I still had not been seen so I left the exam room and was going to reschedule at the front desk. The doctor saw me walk out of the exam room and, although I wasn't angry, made it seem like I was throwing a tantrum. It was awkward. I returned to the exam room and my follow-up took all of 30 seconds. The doctor then refunded my deductible, which I appreciated. However, the voice and body language of the doctor seemed to convey contempt rather than apology.
