I hate it when I go to write a review and realize I should have reviewed it before when things were good so the contrast would be apparent.
I've stayed here at least 4 times and I return for it's many positives: Stylish rooms, enjoyable restaurants, festive environment, killer pools and lastly, a fantastic gym.
I became a "backstage pass" member at the outset of this last visit. My concierge at check-in was exceptional. I imagine I'll be back but..some things...starting with...the gym now sucks. I don't understand why. I get they moved the spa. I swear they have changed their spa at least three times in 8 years. Why? No idea. Still overpriced.
But the gym feels like a 1/4 the size of the last one and one in which you'd find at a run of the mill Sheraton.
That said, it has a Pink Taco which is a great destination after you've first arrived from check-in or after day drinking.
Which leads me to Rehab, the grand mommy of day clubs. This used to be included with your room. Now no more and if I'm going to have to listen to Keisha blare her soundcheck through my room when I am in hour 2 of my sleep, the least Hard Rock can offer me is the opportunity to lay at the pool while heterosexual hedonists revel about.
If you are going to keep me up, at least provide me with Starbucks! I swear every major city in the world has a Starbucks at every three paces. Not Vegas!
Hard Rock has Fuel....and their coffee is gross! Their yogurt parfaits are yummy to be fair.
And lastly, Terrible room cleaning! It's been more than one visit where I've gotten a discount because of returning multiple times in a weekend to an untouched room.
The Hard Rock encourages you to party like a rockStar while in Vegas but supports you in that pursuit like a cast member from Big Brother Slovakia-who are you again?
C'mon Hard Rock, you have & can do better!
