  • My son, Wesley and I have enjoyed coming a few times now, you guys make it a lot of fun. We love the scavenger hunt! What a cool way to receive free comics :) This year I think we were in and out of the free comic area in about 15 minutes but we hung around for hours taking in the entire experience. This year a lady told my son she liked his red hair and he looked down at the ground and said "thanks" and I told her how he gets bullied for having red hair and about 3 other people started chiming in telling him how cool red hair was. That was amazing to us both. The people we meet there have always been great and it is great for my son who doesn't quite fit in anywhere else to get that chance to feel like he fits in with others. Your featured artist also took time to encourage Wesley to keep drawing and he'd get there with style and speed as he was doing, that was so wonderful as well. I truly appreciate the opportunity to give my son these small moments that will leave such large impacts on his life in the future. Thank you for everything you do each year!
