So, I am usually pretty good about reading reviews prior to purchasing services, but I didn't this time and boy, do I ever regret. She pulled the same stunt with me as I have read many posts here that she would honor the Groupon Price for a full set and fill, so I did not purchase the Groupon.
Well, after I finished, she charged me $60 and she said this covers your fill? What?????, that is not what you said in all our text messages and my lashes felt weird, they were very stiff and clumped together, she said, tomorrow you can brush them out. Hmmmm, this is not first time getting eyelash extensions so I thought did you use something different on me? Well, the next day, there was no possible way that I was going to get these lashes apart, there was so much glue on them that they actually were hurting my eyes and poking my lids where they were attached.
I texted Gemma multiple times and she did not respond to me at all. I wish I would have taken a picture of the horrible job she did to my lashes. I was on a business trip two days after and had to find a local lash studio to have the lashes removed. It took them over 2 hours of soaking the fake extensions to even get them loose. Everyone in the studio came over and looked at the horrific eyelash debacle that I was dealing with, very embarrassing. Needless to say, I lost most of my lashes in the process. What a horrible experience and a fraud this person is. I canceled my next appointment and have texted her numerous times about this horrible service and requested a refund, but she has not answered, so I am going to probably go and speak with her face to face.
Lesson learned, go back and do your research before you buy any services from anyone.
