  • I'm almost reluctant to share the news that this is one of the better VV locations in the city. While Lansdowne and Queen West are always rewarding, this one cannot be beat for the selection of high quality clothes and the friendly and helpful staff. The housewares and toy sections are small (Lansdowne far superior in this regard), but the gentrification of the east end seems to have a positive influence on the clothing donations. It has the best handbag selection I've seen at any VV. It must have cleaned up since the reviews in 2010, although the bathroom is not very pleasant and they don't have paper towels because they say the clientele use it to block the toilet (!). I credit the wonderful staff for creating a pleasant, well-organized shopping experience for the discerning thrift shopper.
