| - Randomly chose to stop here on a trip out to the McDowell Mountain Regional Park, and I'm glad we did. The atmosphere was great and patio seating was pleasant, especially at this time of the year. We had good service, with visits from our server coming at appropriate times in the meal without being overbearing. The veal marsala was outstanding, with excellent flavors and textures. My friend had the linguine pescatore, which was amazing. I only tried one bite, but it was delicious. She loved it.
We learned after the meal that all the recipes are original to the owner/operator, and that he often makes the pastas and cheeses himself. The pizza was also highly recommended, although we did not try it. The people were quite cordial, which enhanced the experience even more. We dined around 8:30pm on a Saturday, which I guess is sometimes busy depending on the weekend and what is happening in the surrounding Fountain Hills community.
Make no mistake, I will be back!
