  • A reason I would have a hard time moving away from the west end: Rotate This. Possibly the best record shop in the city, in the top 2 for sure. I've had so much luck here, a large portion of my collection was from discovering gems found in the bins of this awesome shop. There's always a great selection in the used bins, and the new LP prices are the lowest in Toronto. What's absolutely great is, the owner and staff here refuse to price-gauge on rare and collectable items. If you're lucky enough to get there at the right time, then you deserve a great find at a good price. NO putting records on a pedestal here, NO silly $250 price tags for 90's pressings, and NO taking the fun out record collecting by treating it like an exclusive club for greedy collectors and dealers. Just plain record collecting fun for normal people who enjoy vinyl. The staff are helpful and the owner is super nice, he always takes the time to say hello and chat about anything. The new location on Ossington is also a big improvement from Queen West, so definitely check it out!!
