| - Lovely place for dinner. Décor is beautiful; although a bit too much gold for my liking. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.
Tom yum soup was 'yum'. Spiciness and sourness was well balanced; shrimps were also big and fresh, soup came nice and hot. Calamari was served fresh, hot and crispy, while inside was fresh and chewy. Satays were also pretty nice; a lot of places fail at the sauce but this place was pretty authentic. The meat was also not dry or chewy. The curries in my opinion could be spicier, that dish wasn't too satisfying. Could have gone without that one. When you're trying out a new Thai place, you have to try their pad thai to determine whether or not it's worth your next visit. While a lot of places use ketchup to compensate for the flavours and colours, this place did not. So go ahead and give it a try if you're a pad thai fan.
Traditional Thai dessert sticky rice with mango and coconut milk was delish, nice ending to a satisfying meal. Rice was soft and chewy with their coconut milk being very fragrant. You might want to share this one as it can be a bit heavy.
This restaurant's standards were good at the time I went, which was maybe a year ago. Considering where they are located, their quality shouldn't go down. Note: if you're looking for a 'good deal meal', try Kinnaree Thai Restaurant, my personal second fave next to this one.
