I love the new store a lot. Every part of it is wonderful except the meat and seafood department. How in the hell do your butchers get away without wearing any gloves? I have been here 6 times since it opened (I drive past the one on Shea because they don't wear gloves either!) Sunday late afternoon I went in and this is how the guy retrieved my kabobs.. he was working without gloves wrapping hamburger comes over takes out a baggie then reaches in and scoops up the kabobs with the baggie manages to drop them on the casing then proceeds to try and squish the 3-pounds of kabobs back in the baggie that has now touched everything around it including his hamburger fingers. Totally NOT okay with this handling of food. I don't get my meat at the Shea Sprouts because they do the same thing.. scooping out with the bag.. no hand sanitizer around no gloves on.. I really don't get it. GROSS GROSS GROSS. You can't have men with hairy fingers and arms reaching into a meat display and scoop out your order.. get with it Sprouts.. I will be watching. Meanwhile I will shop at Costco or AJ's for my meat and seafood until you all figure out how to get your men with hairy fingers to wear gloves..
