Walking in, the environment is nice enough and there is immediately a register with the menu above and relatively customizable options. The staff is friendly but they only need to interact with you for a minute or so when taking your order. There are a number of topping options for 50 cents or a dollar such as extra veggies, meat and noodles in case you want more. Beware of adding toppings because there is little addition and it can make your bill much more than you expect. They also have udon if ramen texture is just not for you. I got the vegetarian ramen but I kept the naruto because seafood is my guilty pleasure.
As I was sitting I noticed how spacious the interior was to seat a large number of people. Within few minutes, the order came out which is much appreciated since I am alone and it's awkward waiting for extended periods of time. As I take my first bite I can tell that there is a lot of salt in the broth and there is a thick soy sauce taste. It has a bitter aftertaste as well. The noodles are good but not great they have the texture of noodles that sink in your teeth rather than bounce back which is what I call "lacking bite." I decided to add chili pepper from the area that has the fountain drinks, napkins and utensils, since the broth is otherwise dimensionless. You could come out satisfied by the quantity of food but the quality is just subpar. I'm sure they have other more popular options that I can try but with fast casual dining they really need to sell it on the taste of the food.
