This is similar in size to other larger No Frills, such as the one at Dundas and Lansdowne.
No Frills -- being a privately owned Loblaw's franchise and not a part of corporate Loblaw's --seems to have a bit more leeway in marketing to the predominant ethnic groups in the area. So, as one might suspect from its Yonge and Steeles location, there is a large kosher selection and good selection of Asian specialties. Surprisingly, not all that much in the line of Persian food, but perhaps it does not feel in compete with Persian supermarkets nearby.
Produce selection is good but items may run short when store is busy. I have found that if you buy fish at No Frill's, the tuna and tilapia are usually fresh enough but cod and sole should be avoided.
Meat selection is excellent and as is usual, ethnic specialties are carried, at least to some degree.
Reasonably clean. Checkers are not outstanding but unlike in some No Frills stores, they are not overtly rude.
The parking lot here is strange and if you are going for the first time, remember to go all the way in the back and not park by the side entrance where you go in through the mall. Their shopping carts don't work if you take them out of their area; presumably because it would be too labour intensive to retrieve them from other parts of the large mall parking lot.
