TIPS:
-AAA DISCOUNT ACCEPTED HERE - they knock a few dollars off!
-Bring sunglasses, a hat and water. This is the desert, after all. There are water fountains but since the recent news about Phoenix tap water being the worst in the nation, you might want to abstain.
Definitely a beautiful and unique place. I had never been to a desert botanical garden before. There was some interesting information about the flora and the mountains provided a stunning backdrop.
My complaints would be that it's a bit pricy without the discount - $22 for adults. The gift shop (which had some really cute stuff) was very expensive as well. Additionally, they could benefit from a couple more signs - I got lost and had trouble finding the way to the exit.
