Hipster coffee shop late Sunday morning in a hipster district with loads of seating. I'm hip to that. Okay, I guess it's new. That might be why the place isn't packed like every other coffee shop with free wireless, coffee, and a flat surface you can park it for 2 hours.
The back patio is still in development. The owners were quite open "we're waiting until we can afford to renovate it."
They were playing a Led Zeppelin CD while we were there for the 2011 spring coffee crawl. Great taste in music and not that housing shit. I appreciate that.
The drinking water cistern with with fruit slices was a classy touch. I wish Starbucks et al had drinking water. There's something kind of nice about hoofing it around in summer, getting a coffee, and then refilling your water bottle to keep yourself hydrated. I guess places would rather sell you a $2 bottle of water you'll probably throw onto the street after you're done drinking it than just providing it easily and free.
