  • I have been here on many different occasions, this was by far the worst experience I have had. We arrived early and we're sat right away. The waitresses were very friendly. We ordered the all you can eat. We placed out first order (seafood salad, sweet shrimp, tempura vegetables) we never received the shrimp. The sea food salad was full of salmon and was lacking everything else, maybe had 1 small piece of shrimp and a little piece of tuna. The vegetables took a very long time to come out and we're not cooked through. After about a 20 minute wait to place out next order we got (no name, you da man too, crazy jalapeño, sweet shrimp and devil roll) this time our devil roll was missing. The other rolls were very lacking in finesse and preparation, this is usually Yama's strong point. When we finished eating the sushi we ordered a vanilla mochi, and green tea ice cream. We waited about 10 minutes for those to come out and both were melting and had appeared to be sitting for some time. Overall we did not have a very good experience that night, Yama's main head chef must have had the day off because the standards were very below par. The waiting crew was good but seemed to lack leadership. just for the sake of saying everyone has a bad day, I'm giving then 3 stars. I would recommend coming here on the weekends just not at 6 on a thursday.
