I came to Bar Marco one Sunday for brunch with my girlfriends. I've been wanting to check it out for months and now it was finally my chance! The experience was already off to a bad start because the Strip District is the worst place to be on the weekends. Thankfully after driving around for probably 30 min I was able to find a spot in their side lot. Which is a major bonus I have to say!
After all that driving around I obviously needed a drink so I went with my brunch favorite, a bloody mary. I'm very picky about my bloody mary's and I would say this one met my standards. My only complaint was the price to portion ratio. If you want to charge a decent amount for drinks they shouldn't be small.
Entree wise I decided to go with the baked eggs. I figured it was something you don't see often at brunch so why not switch it up. While it was definitely tasty, there sadly wasn't anything special about it. Nothing about it made me wish I could have more or made me want to come back to have it again. I guess I should have expected that with baked eggs but I felt like they could have done something more. Maybe some veggies mixed in or add some spice to it to take it up a notch!
