  • This is exactly why the taxi industry is dying in America. Lost my phone and didn't have the capability to use uber/lyft. Just went old school and used a phone book and a land line. Called them and they told me 15-20 minutes compared to the 5-10 minute riseshare waits. I was okay with waiting that long but long behold it took them over an hour to send a taxi to me. Called them again after 20 minutes but the operator could not give me an ETA and was very abrasive. Stick with the rideshares.
