  • I am very very sad to put 1 star. I have been going here for 9 years, but now it's MomDoc. This year was the first year I wanted to talk to my doctor about fertility. She recommended a blood test. After doing them I received a 400 dollar bill for speaking with the doctor for 20 mins and 600 bills for the blood tests that was recommended I do. Come to find out after the fact my insurance does not cover infertility related things. No one told me prior to this doctor visit or prior to do the blood work. After complaining multiple times, they said it is not their job to check on coverage, it is up to the patient to know was is covered. My insurance company said usually doctors office check to make sure things are covered. It works of been nice to know that going into the visit and blood work to know that the insurance would not cover it. Apparently there way to bill the insurance then find out if it's covered after its already done. I think that is completely backwards. They will not tell me my results over the phone, even though I've had other blood tests read to be my results over the phone. Also one time talked to a person over the phone too and she was had idea about anything, put people on the phone that know what there talking about, doctors visits are serious stuff. I am beyond frustrated and now looking for another OBGYN office to go to. The only nice person is Abby from billing, thanks for your kindness you have showed me. UPDATE- after many phone calls and yelling. I was able to have to pay less than half my bill. They did say they would waive the visit fee. A week ago I received a bill stating I own 386 more dollars.... I just called their billing department and they have no idea what they are doing. And they said per the "notes" the feed was never waived and never written down. Please stay away from this company. When you go to an OBGYN you want to be comfortable, I will NEVER be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
