There's nothing like an Hawai'ian plate lunch to keep you going through a day: meat, rice, and macaroni salad. Although it's a chain, L&L is actually pretty good. The BBQ mix plate is a combination of bulgogi, kalbi ribs, and grilled chicken, along with the carbs. Add a side of Kimchi and I don't have to go to Chinatown for a good Korean feast at a reasonable price.
The other Hawai'ian specialties are just as good: Spam musubi, Kahlua pork, Loco Moko; it's all good.
Aloha and Mahalo.
