| - Over the weekend I had my eyebrows threaded. I've been getting waxed since I was 13 so I didn't know what to expect. Everything was so foreign to me. The two places I normally go to get waxed were slammed, call me petty but I was not about to go out with unkempt eyebrows.
I came into ERU because I was desperate. I had heard that getting threaded was painful so I never wanted to try it. The woman that greeted me was nice, she seemed so concentrated in her work so she barely made eye contact with me, she asked me to take a seat while she finished with the customer before me. I was nervous when it came time for my turn. All I can say is that it was a bit painful, I'll describe the pain as getting a band-aid stuck to your little arm hairs and trying to yank it off. The woman who was doing my brows had me hold the skin next to my brows while she threaded away, I thought that was interesting, when she was done she combed through my eyebrows, gave them a little trim, then cleaned me up, she then handed me a mirror so that I could see her work, wow, my eyebrows looked lovely! She did a fantastic job, I'll add her as the 3rd person in the Vegas Valley who can actually work with my brows!
I'll definitely be coming back, it's only $7 to get threaded, so that's a steal. The only complaint is that I felt like I had razor burns on my skin, I hope that once I start threading more that feeling will go away.
