  • Warning, contrary to the advertising of this business, they are HIGH BULL. Given the 3.5-star Yelp rating and the fact they are very close to our house, my husband and I went to Earnhardt Kia with the intention of purchasing a new Kia (with cash). We left nauseated after enduring nearly 45 minutes of new car sales nonsense, first from a know-nothing salesperson and then from his very arrogant manager. Several times we simply and politely requested a firm price on the new vehicle we wanted to purchase, so we could make a decision or try to negotiate with them. But alas we couldn't even get started. What we got in response to our request for a price was inconsistent and confusing double talk about rebates, discounts, financing incentives, etc. They threw around numbers from the low 13,000's to over $20,000 for the same vehicle. Surprisingly they didn't even bother to question if I actually had the cash to purchase as I claimed. Maybe because they couldn't care less, as what they really appear to be selling here is NOT new Kias, but rather new-car financing for Kias. I think what they really wanted was to wear me down into filling out a credit application for financing, which I made it clear I didn't want to do and didn't need to do. Their salespeople probably get small cash bonuses for every application they can get signed or approved, irrespective of any sale, like they do at many other dealerships. At one point the sales manager started to become belligerent with us for not being respectful of his "process" as he called it, so we just walked out, and the comments we heard from him and his salesperson as we left weren't flattering--putting it politely. This business is a prime example of what's wrong with new car sales in the US today. YUCK YUCK YUCK!
