  • Ladies, stop what you are doing and sign up this class. It actually made me feel like I needed to prove my worth at being a dignified stripper! However, I don't have any moves nor upper body strength that warrants being a stripper or even a graceful dancer. My instructor, Jade, looked 50 in the face but her body was that of a 20 year old. (That is a compliment) However, her skills, tips, and instructions were mind-blowing to me. She was patient and gave each of us one-on-one attention to ensure we were doing the moves correctly and not injuring ourselves. Very fun class! Please stretch before and after class. And be prepared for the passive-aggressive pressure to tip the instructor afterwards. Something I assumed would have been covered in my $40 admission. The admisstion does come with 2-for-1 drinks, but I wasn't too keen on drinking before a stripping pole class. I arrived shortly after showtime and they hadn't started yet. I kept thinking how upset I would have been if I arrived early because I expected the show to start on time and even considered turning around since I was running late. I said all that to say, no need to rush, because apparently the classes NEVER start on time. But because I was late, I didn't get a chance to take pictures before class like everyone else. No cameras are allowed in the classroom. The class is an hour long and there are approximately 15 poles but plenty of space. The lesson went over pole dancing and lap dances. High heels are encouraged but not mandatory and please don't wear a dress or skirt. In the end, I walked away with the urge to take classes back at home to perfect my skills!
