  • Like so many, I anticipated the opening of Del Frisco at the Esplanade, replacing the very popular Houston's. The space has been transformed into something new and I enjoyed the vibe and the visuals. For that, I give it 4 stars. But the food, well it started off with a mediocre appetizer and went downhill from there. I thought the steak portion was very skimpy....this is compared to The Capital Grill, Flemings or Donavon's. It was good but not as good as their competitors. I hope they get better.
