  • I purchased 6 IPL treatments from Groupon, and was very excited to get an appt at Laser 528 the same week. I arrived right on time and was taken back to the treatment area pretty quickly. Lynette spent about half the appt discussing products, the importance of not using chemical cleaners in the house, the type of food I should be eating, and how she works for tips. This was all a bit strange. Finally she got to the IPL. She considers each pass to be one treatment. I have had previous IPL treatments, and they go over my face twice. At Laser 528, going over twice is considered two treatments. Since the whole appt had already been so awkward, I decided against going back and had her do my chest and lower arms too. This used up all 6 of my treatments in about 15 minutes. Her machine isn't a problem, but she uses such a wide pattern that I didn't get much bang for the buck. One treatment on my face was only about 7-8 pulses. Lynette is very nice, but 6 treatments for $200 all used within 15 minutes really isn't an exceptional deal.
