  • The long wait is finally over...The Fresh Market is officially open! I wondered in here the other day. It was after lunchtime and I was on a mission for some good food. The first thing I saw when I walked in was a prepared food section, which was exactly what I was looking for. They only have a self-serve olive bar, so if you're looking for lots of self-serve stations, this is not the place for you. All of the other food was already packaged up for grab-and-go. It was not nasty grab-and-go food that looks like it had been prepared two days ago and just taken out of the fridge. It looked really good. I got a salad with almonds, dried cranberries and blue cheese. It was so fresh, a nice portion size, and delicious! Overall, the prepared foods section was a pretty good size and there was a ton of variety. They had about 8-10 different salads to choose from, lots of sushi, wraps, etc. There is also an additional register where you can just get in/out instead of having to wait in a long line. They also have a nice wine and food selection. This place isn't huge by any means, but they have a nice variety of good quality items to choose from. For those who don't like the experience of an overwhelming grocery store with long lines and unfriendly employees, The Fresh Market is the place for you!
