  • DISCRIMINATION--- Met friends for play date but they wouldn't let my 2 year old daughter in. She wears SMO orthopedic braces on her ankles that require her to wear shoes at all times. The people at the desk said they couldn't allow her to wear her shoes because they did not have a white sole. (Her shoes were StrideRites with pink soles.) I told them these are the only shoes she has (besides one dressy black pair), but they said she would have to remove them or not participate. I even brought shoe booties to cover her shoes (like the ones you wear after your carpet gets shampooed) but they wouldn't allow it. Total discrimination against my sweet daughter. She cried and cried because she didn't understand why she couldn't play with her friends. Shame on you, Urban Jungle.
