  • Thanks Kris for a wonderful event, it was nice meeting all the Elite members. It was my first time attending a yelp event. The Tour guide Anthony was explaining in detail about all the stalls. He was very patient and was excited to take us around. The outdoor festival looked good and had a big crowd! People were enjoying the music and the food. Its was a good cultural event. It felt like they brought Italy to Canada. We tried Palma Pasta, it was good, the meatball was so fresh, the texture was smooth. It was not at all like normal meatballs we make at home or buy frozen packs. The sauce was very fresh too. Then we tried On a Bun, veal sandwich, it was very different, it was not too thick, just right- really tasty. Then we tried Speducci, it was lamb and chicken skewers. Both were good but the lamb was a bit salty. We tried ice cream from Sicilian. They had lots of flavors, good taste and a very smooth texture. I missed my husband as he is an ice cream freak. I recommend everyone to check out Italfest- the music, shows, and food (especially food) are delightful!
