Had a disappointing Sunday dinner at Hawthorne's Mint Hill. We started with an order of calamari to share. Tasted fresh but was a very small portion, certainly not worth $10. We ordered eggplant parm which was very good. The other order was shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. A very small portion of pasta. Was the amount of a side dish. What at first looked like a good serving of shrimp was found to be each shrimp cut up into pieces. There was maybe 3 medium shrimp, not a good value for $14. Giving a 3rd star because the service was friendly and efficient.
