  • The wife and I decided to go to Blue Mound State Park on Saturday and hit up the Grumpy Troll on the way home. Mt. Horeb is a charming little town with a small downtown area. It's hard not to find the Grumpy Troll, which seems to be the main gathering spot in Mt. Horeb. The Pizzeria located upstairs had a wait time and the pub downstairs was teeming with life. The beer is mediocre; of the 8 that I tried, I really only enjoyed 3. The service, atmosphere, and food were all great, however. It's definitely worth the stop, if you're in the area.
