  • Went for lunch today. We were the only people in the restaurant. Took us 33 minutes to get our food. When we finally got it, I said to the waitress "wow, I can't believe it took 35 minutes to get two sandwiches." She responded, "we had to cook the chicken, we don't want you getting salmonella." Really? How about a simple "sorry it took so long". After she said that, my co-worker who had ordered the chicken said "there is no way I'm eating that now." We got up to leave. I made a comment to the manager/bartender about the service and the waitress' rude response, and she (the manager) could care less.
