Just recently purchased my new 2017 Forester from Subaru Joe. Great guy, no high pressure sales, and really knows his way around a Forester. Once we sat down to offer a price, it was only 5-10 minutes before we had the final deal worked out...and there was no big push of "what will it take for you to buy it right now?" pitch from the manager. Yes, he came in for a very short period of time, explained his best offer (and why) - which matched what my research on the internet said I could reasonably expect for best pricing - and we sent everything off to finance. Took maybe 40 minutes from that time before they were ready for me to sign on the dotted line...and by then they had my new Forester all spiffed up and ready to go. Yes, they did push the warranty ("service contract"), but it was more an explanation of WHY you need it rather than you need to BUY it. Ultimately, he said...up to you. Do you want me to add or not? And we were ready for the final signature. The process was as easy and stress free as buying something that cost half the price of my first house could be...they made it as painless as possible. Yes, I would recommend Peoria Subaru...look up Subaru Joe for a great intro to the car and to work with you on your new car. Oh, and I've had my Forester for almost a week now...loving it so far!
