| - Religious Nightlife. You can say that again.
This is one of my favorite nightclubs of all time.
The vibe, the scene, the decor. Where do I start. Everything has an intimate, sexy, appeal to it. Yeah, I'm not really a fan of the girls who's job it is to soak in a bathtub or massage one another, but even feminist me finds this place to be absolutely addicting! The Buddha statues, the artwork on the wall, even the bathrooms are cool here. Rose petals, water, candles, and other touches make Tao intensely seductive and intimate, yet it has a lot of square footage and plenty of room.
If you have guys with you and you have to wait in line, I suggest going into Tao restaurant and ordering a drink from the bar. No, you can't sneak into the club from the restaurant, but you can take your unfinished drinks in a plastic cup outside with you before you wait in line. One tokyo tea later, *wow is that strong* we were inside the club. Where does the time fly.... lol
my only complaint is that they tend to play a lot of trance music here, which can get old. but that's minor, really.
Check out tao beach upstairs, as it is open at night and is a good place to get some air and smoke a cig (if you smoke). There's also a bar up there if you don't feel like waiting downstairs.
Hands down an AMAZING place to go. Great for a night out with the girls, or going as a couple with your man. ;)
