This was my first time at Wild Berry Diner but it definitely won't be my last. We stopped in for a late breakfast. The host, who we later figured out was the owner, sat us down and brought water and coffee. I ordered the country fried steak and my girlfriend had the espanola omelette. Both dishes came out quickly and were amazing. The country fried steak was crispy and topped with a delicious gravy. It was served with scrambled eggs, a biscuit and crispy hash browns. The omelette was full of flavor and topped with a zesty salsa. The owner came out to make sure the food was good and made conversation. He was very friendly and made the experience pleasant. The meal was great, the service was great and we were ready to head out. We asked the waitress for the check and she explained that the owner had taken care of it after finding out I'm in the Army. If you want to support a patriotic, family-owned restaurant that serves delicious breakfast dishes, give this place a try!
