| - BACKGROUND
I got my first set of eyelash extensions one year ago, and have been getting them done every 1-2 weeks ever since.
One of the most frustrating problems I've encountered is that most people who do extensions won't do fills on a set done by someone else. That means that even though I may only need a fill, I am often required to have my set removed and a new set added, which is both a huge increase in price and time sitting in the chair.
MOXIE SALON
I was happy with my extensions, but just needed a quick fill, so I checked on Yelp and found Kylie at Moxie Salon. I was thrilled that she was willing to do a fill without requiring me to remove my current set. Another cool thing about Kylie is that she prices fills by time (60 or 90 minutes), so the price and time in the chair is up to me. Obviously, the longer visit allows her to give a much fuller fill, but it's not always necessary.
THE STORY
When I made my first appointment, Kylie told me she was located at the Palette Collective Complex. Palette Collective Complex is a trendy share-space comprised of beauty boutiques and hair salons all individually owned and operated with a Provision Coffee Bar on Gilbert Road just South of 202 at Germann Road. Not much is more enjoyable than having the option to have a delicious coffee or a fresh beer before embarking on any activity, especially routine activities which involve time consuming sitting. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a super friendly barista who suggested the Orange Blossom Wheat Beer on draft, which he allowed me to take to my lash appointment. Absolute heaven.
Kylie met me up front and took me to her salon space, which is decorated classic chic and the lash chair is very comfortable. It's pretty awesome getting my lashes done all curled up with a blanket and a beer and gossiping with Kylie.
SERVICE EXPERIENCE
I get full volume 10-11's in inner edge which flair out to 14-15's. I am very particular about my lashes and if I have any requests or changes, Kylie accommodates me right away. Kylie does incredible work and I always leave extremely happy. Although I originally went to Kylie for a quick fill, I wound up switching to her full time.
Lashes are such a luxury and it's nice to be treated that way.
CONCLUSION
5/5 HIGHLY RECOMMEND
