  • I will write a review on Mountainside Fitness since Fit Republic is closed. This company (both are owned by the same company) has unethical and shady business practices. Fit Republic offered a "Black Friday" special for discounted passes knowing the facility was closing at the end of December. I did not use my passes since they were good until the end of February, 2017 and I had other passes to use up first so asked for a refund of them. I was told 2 months later after inquiring numerous times that they were not refunding passes. I was offered a 3 month Mountainside membership but since I don't live in Phoenix that is no good for me as I don't have any trips scheduled in the next 3 months. I had only purchased the # of passes I intended to use through the expiration date in 2017. I was a Mountainside member for many years when I lived in Phoenix (purchased high end personal training packages and an executive locker for all of the years), held them in high regards and have referred many friends their way. This unethical business practice has me changing my mind.
