1. When I saw the entrance door, I thought why did they move the entrance to the restrooms outside..
2. It sits in the same parking lot with a Subway.. An Irish pub? Seriously?
3. The interior is okay. They got enough TVs, I asked to turn on a channel to see the review of the English Premier League day, she didn't find any. Though she found one and I was able to see sketches of the Totenham - Chelsea game. That's a plus.
4. They don't have Pumpernickel.
5. Made my order over the phone, was trying to customize menu replacing the regular mashed potatoes from the corned beef and cabbage plate with the garlic mashed potatoes and beans. She said she don't have the beans but I saw them in another menu item! The beef and cabbage was okay. But I think they felt wrong, tasteless. I think the plate needs more spices. Not too bad considering I paid my visit at 11 p.m. on Jan the 1st.
6. With Yelp check in and my order of one main entree, I got to pick any appetizer item from the menu for FREE. I picked a bowl of Mussels worth of $10.99 (my main entree was $12.39). Wow! Yelp is a cool thing!
7. My bartender was okay, willing to chat a little bit, paying attention to my needs but nothing more than that.
I kinda didn't like the atmosphere, just not to my taste.
And to top it off the manager, who's a real Irishman (not Irish-American) is a Man. City fan. Don't like the team and its supporters but it's personal :)
So.. this place gets well earned 2 starts and sure I ain't coming back.
