Not really sure how this place only has 3 and a half stars. They've got all the hallmarks of a great breakfast place (aside from being in the airport, of course). But Matt's isn't just good for being in the airport; it's good all around.
The service was spectacular, even the host who had to put up with a lot of attitude from angry people who didn't want to wait for a table.
The menu prices were decent too, aside from the alcohol of course. But the hog and chick breakfast was $10.99 and comes with all the usual fixings. This is more affordable than most brunch places nowadays, but it was stellar! The toast and bacon were memorable.
Next time I find myself in need of breakfast in the Phoenix airport, I will be headed to Matt's!
